Who we are?
‘Raise For Life’ is a group of friends from various parts of the UK with one aim – raise money and awareness for those in need around the world. ‘Raise For life’ is not a charity and nor do we pretend to be one. Just as our slogan says, people can assist by donating, get involved in our fund-raising projects or participate in the events we run to help raise funds.                      

How does ‘Raise For Life’ operate?    
Every year we work closely with a chosen charity that we feel aims to deliver the best for those who are in dire need across the world. We then organise awareness, marketing, fund-raising and events to achieve an agreed target over a period of time. ‘Raise For Life’ does not hold on to your money. When you donate, the money goes directly to the charity – we do not see a penny! 100% of your money goes to the charity, it then goes directly to the cause/appeal that the charity is raising funds for. We do not take any money from you for profit, running costs, distribution costs, marketing, events, travel, etc. We work on our own costs and those provided by the charity. We haven't been around for decades, just a few years but enough experience and understanding to make a difference.

Over the last few years we have worked with various charities that has involved raising money for various appeals Pakistan Earthquake, Palestine water project, Burma Crisis, Somalia Famine, Birmingham Homeless Project, including many local appeals. Our portfolio is growing.

Syria Appeal
‘Raise For Life’ is working with Human Appeal who have been active in Syria since the beginning of the conflict. One week after the conflict Human Appeal were on the ground helping refugees to Syrians both inside the country as well as those in the bordering countries of Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon.

Due to recent bombings on the border and use of chemical weapons within the country, entry into Syria is proving difficulty given the unstable situation. However, Human Appeal's work is ongoing effectively given their relationship with partners on the ground. So far, Human Appeal has been able to provide:

- Mobile Medical clinics
- Fuel
- Hygiene Kits
- Food Parcels
- Mattresses and blankets and clothing
- Shelter

With your support, ‘Raise For Life’ and Human Appeal can continue the outreach and help those most in need. Working with Human Appeal, RFL will look to support the needy in Syria by helping to raise funds for food parcels.

Food parcels includes basic necessities such as: Rice, Lentils, Flour, Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Salt, Potatoes,Dates, Tea, Dried Fruit, Dried Milk, Shampoo, Toothpaste, Towels, Women’s Sanitary Packs.

·         £1000 feeds a family for 1 year

·         £500 feeds a family for 6 months

·         £250 feeds a family for 3 month

This year, RFL will be taking 100 fundraisers to run 10k (approximately 6 miles) at the 2014 Leamington Regency 10k Run. The run is a fantastic opportunity to participate in a fun activity, whilst also raising money for a serious cause.

To enter the Leamington Regency 10k Run and be part of the 'lucky 100', you will have to:

1. Pay a £25 registration fee – This will cover the cost of entry for the race               
2. Raise a minimum of £250 – Every penny you raise will be donated to food parcels
