Story
I recently decided to take a year out before going to university so I could travel, working and volunteering along the way. I came across Raleigh International through a friend of mine who went to Costa Rica and absolutely loved it. I decided to look into it and in doing so I read about their expedition to Tanzania-one of the poorest economies in the world, where children are uneducated, sanitation is rare and animal poaching is common, ruining communities. I became really interested in how I could become involved and what I could do to help, and at the beginning of December I was accepted by Raleigh to volunteer with them in June for 10 weeks! It's a really exciting process and I'm loving every moment of the fundraising, hopefully with your help and support I help to make a difference in one of the most beautiful and culturally diverse countries in the world.
