An RAU football team has entered the Mary Hare 6 a side football tournament as part of their Food and Football Festival on 25th April 2015.

We are raising money for Mary Hare as part of their Sink or Swim appeal.

The Mary Hare Foundation is the only school in the UK for profoundly deaf children. As such children come from far and wide, with many needing to board. Sport for deaf kids is a real life changer.  Many of the school's facilities date back to 1926 when it was founded. The swimming pool which brings such joy to the children and indeed the wider community is in such a state of disrepair that unless substantial renovations are undertaken it will be forced to close. THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN.  Sport for deaf kids is as important, if not more so, than for kids far more fortunate than themselves.
