Cotswold Way Challenge 2019 · 29 June 2019 to 30 June 2019 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

As a family the 5 of us are walking 100km from Bath to Cheltenham as part of the Cotswold Way Challenge on 29-30 June 2019 in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK (PCUK).

In September, Ray Walker (dad and husband to us) was sadly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and within 7 weeks he died. He fought an incredibly brave, courageous fight but this form of cancer is severely underfunded and incredibly hard to detect and treat.

We are devastated as a family but we are determined to fight this terrible disease for him and for all the potential sufferers in the future.

We are a family of fitness enthusiasts and are determined to take on this challenge as hard as we can and raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.

We hate cancer. We hate the effect this has had on our family, and we hate the potential it has to affect so many others. Every penny donated will help fight this truly awful disease.
