We are a non-profit organisation working to create school places for children affected by poverty. We have been implementing educational projects since 1994. Today, we have enough places for 112,006 children to gain an education across 390 schools of which 11,341 are orphaned.

Story

Salaams All.

After countless years of just talking and not getting practically involved in anything substantial charitable, this year Imran, Farhan and I have decided to raise money to add a new READ foundation school to their portfolio of over 340 schools in Pakistan providing free education to thousands of children in the most impoverished parts of Pakistan. You can find out more about them on www.readfoundation.org.uk and we'll soon be adding photos and a video to this page of what they are upto which is absolutely amazing. And of course we checked them out to ensure our money will be well spent so trust us on that!!

We are raising £75k to build a new school (either in Bagh which was a city which was completely destroyed by earthquake or in  outskirts of Murree in northern areas) and would request, beg, appeal, push, encourage (etc etc...) YOU ALL to please donate generously for this great cause.

We are also hoping you will also reach out to your networks to spread this page and request donations on our behalf so we can quickly get some more children off the streets of Pakistan (and away from the influence of extremists!) and into a quality READ foundation school....
