Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the Edinburgh 10k  for Alzheimer's Scotland on Saturday 28th May 2016.

My friend's mother has been diagnosed with Early On-set Alzheimer's in her mid-50's.  Unfortunately there is currently no cure for Alzheimer's. 

Alzheimer's Scotland offer support, advice and much needed care to families all over Scotland. The charity is in need of continued funding in order to maintain and enhance the support it offer's people.

I am running this 10k to raise the awareness of early on-set Alzheimer's as currently there is little support for the people and the families of those with the illness as the disease tends to affect people later on in their lives.
