Story

Late last year, my father under went an organ transplant through the Nottingham City Hospital Transplant Unit. They, along with the donor, saved his life so now we want to give something back to the department.

We will be taking part in events such as The National 3 Peaks Challenge, X Runner, running local cake stalls, fun runs, and many other activities.

Last year we raised money for the Derby Royal Hospital as they started the process and cared for his needs during dialysis, until he was transferred to a specialist transplant department in Nottingham.

Here is the official cheque being handed to the Derby Hospital, the amount raised was through different fund raising activities we took part in over 2013/2014.

For the care and treatment that he went though there, we would love to give a donation to the Transplant Unit in Nottingham too.

Please donate whatever you can.

Thanks,

Bek and Mike
