Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Hello everyone!

So basically the end of 2018 was a very traumatic time. My partner Gregory Cox went into cardiac arrest whilst we were in bed. Watching his life seemingly be taken away at the age of 23 I called the emergency services who talked me through how to administer CPR. A combination of this and the extremely quick response from the emergency services and all their hard work managed to successfully resuscitate Greg who was swiftly taken to intensive care at St. George’s Hospital, Tooting. A day later Greg was woken up after being medically induced and the progress he has been making since then is staggering.

I want to raise awareness that things like cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. And for some reason I thought a skydive would be the way to do that! I’ve chosen March to give me time to really push fundraising and also it’s Greg’s birthday. Greg is also from Swansea so thats why I’ve chosen this location.

Please give what you can! Lots of Love, Reiss xx

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
