It is with great admiration for Alison's courage, shown in facing her fight against cancer, that we link to this wonderful children's charity. 

Alison had been deeply humbled by the courage of children she witnessed whilst undergoing treatment herself, and had commented that "she at least had been lucky enough to experience over 50 years of life".

Alison was due to join her friends at this year's Molly Olly's Charity Ball in order to raise funds for children fighting cancer and other terminal illnesses, to help make some of their dreams come true. 

We believe this will be a truly fitting and worthy tribute as Alison began her early career working with children and was a much loved Aunty and Godmother.
