Remembering Noah Thomas

I have started this page as a tribute to my friends Chris and Helens' beautiful son Noah, who was born 31st March 2012 at 7.29am weighing 6lbs 6.5oz. Sadly their little boy was in such a deep sleep he never woke up.

After 40 weeks and 4 days of preparing for their bundle of joy they then had to face going home without their precious boy.

They are extremely proud of Noah and love him dearly. He will always be part of Team Thomas.

In Noah's honour I would like to raise as much as I can for Sands - the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society who support those affected by the death of a baby and also promote research into reducing the number of little lives lost.

In Noah's honour I would like to raise as much as I can for the RDHC - Stillbirth fund. This is a cause that has already directly affected Helen and Chris. The money raised helps with the upkeep of rooms used by bereaved parents in the hospital so that they are able to be a comfortable as possible in their hours of need and the money is also used to help train the bereavement midwives that are so vital in their journey.

Chris and Helen were able to stay together over night in a private room in the hospital after Noah arrived and this made a huge difference. They were also able to spend time with Noah in these special rooms each time they went back to visit him before they had to say a final good bye.

The bereavement midwives have taken good care of them and are continuing to do so. Your money will be going to a very worthy cause and while they wish this would never happen to anyone else the reality is that it will and that by raising money we can make sure other bereaved parents and sleeping babies are well looked after.

I have started this page as a further tribute to my beautiful son, Noah Martin Thomas, who was born 31st March 2012 at 7.29am weighing 6lbs 6.5oz. Sadly our little boy was in such a deep sleep he never woke up.

After 40 weeks and 4 days of preparing for our bundle of joy, during a text book pregnancy and labour, we then had to face going home without our precious boy. 

We are extremely proud of Noah and love him dearly. He will always be part of Team Thomas.

We met Russell and Susie Black through Farnborough Sands last year, just a few weeks after they lost their daughter, Isabelle during labour. Their friendship over this last year has been invaluable and we hope it continues into the future.

I will be running the Reading Half Marathon in memory of both Noah and Isabelle. Having run it previously, I wanted to make it a bigger challenge so will be wearing a pregnancy suit (boobs and bump). The bump will have the combined birth weights of Noah (6lbs 6.5oz) and Isabelle (9lbs 2oz)..15lbs 8.5oz.

Too many babies die needlessly. I hope you will sponsor me to raise funds for a charity that is very close to my heart and a charity that will provide funds to research why this happens and how to prevent it and provides support for bereaved parents.

I am running the Bristol 10k in memory of my cousin-in-law's son, Noah.

On the 31st March 2012 at 7.29am Noah was born weighing 6lbs 6.5oz. Sadly their little boy was in such a deep sleep he never woke up.

After 40 weeks and 4 days of a text book pregnancy and having given birth to a perfect, healthy baby boy, Helen & Chris then had to face going home with an empty car seat to a nursery that couldn't be used.

They are extremely proud of their son and love him dearly. He will always be part of Team Thomas.

In Noah's honour I would like to raise as much as possible for the RDHC - Stillbirth fund. This is a cause that has provided Helen & Chris with a huge amount of support over the last year. The money raised helps with the upkeep of rooms used by bereaved parents in the hospital so that they are able to be a comfortable as possible in their hours of need. It is also used to help train the bereavement midwives that are so vital in looking after parents at this devastating time and also looking after their precious children who didn't make it safely in to the world.

WELCOME TO THE JUST GIVING PAGE OF THE RIDGEWAY RABBLE

26, 27, 28 April 2013 will see a motley band of 12 blokes take on the challenge of walking the 87 miles of the Ridgeway over 3 days. Yes 3 days!!! The Ridgeway Rabble are Dave,Duncan, Ally, Glen, Kevin, Scott, Joel, Mat, Paul, Graham, Greg and Rich. We're doing this in memory of Noah Martin and to support his parents Chris and Helen. 

All our funds will go towards the Reading and District Stillbirth Fund which is part of the Reading and District Hospitals Charity.
