Remembering Nigel Allen 1957-2021

Mischa Allen is raising money for The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund
In memory of Nigel Allen
The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. Last year we assisted more than 70,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2025 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

The force of nature adored by his family, Nigel Allen, passed away on 4th August 2021 at 63 years old.

Everyone misses him terribly, but we can support a good cause when we remember him. Although flowers are welcome, we would ask for donations to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, the RAF'S leading welfare charity for serving and former members.

My father was proud to serve in the RAF Regiment as a Gunner in the 70s and early 80s. He never stopped talking about his time in the military and went on tours in Northern Ireland, Germany and Belize. It defined so many of my conversations with him. He even went on to buy old military vehicles and do them up on his driveway (much to the surprise of the neighbours) and joined the British Tank Club. He earned the nickname Spider while serving because he would eat spiders, wasps and flies for money. True to form - he always lived on his own terms.

RIP to our Dad, Husband, Brother, Son, Uncle, Baz and Friend. We love you.

Your loving wife Maggie and children Tyler and Mischa xxxx
