Story

Michael Clift

1968 – 2018

“…high o’er the roof of the world he soars, the restless,
seeking surfer…”

Mike took his own life as a consequence of debilitating chronic depression which he managed courageously for many years until it became too much to bear.

He gave so much of himself to so many. He was loved and will be missed.

Mike was a staunch advocate for CALM and the de-stigmatisation of mental illness.

Mike's funeral will be held at:

2pm, 30 July 2018
St Marylebone Crematorium
East End Road
East Finchley
N2 0RZ

Family flowers only. Donations to CALM in place of flowers are much appreciated.

Mike's friends are warmly invited to join his family for refreshments after the funeral at Finchley Cricket Club.
