Last year I got called into the kitchen by my family to be told that my mum had been diagnosed with cancer. This is a feeling you can't explain to anyone or can't imagine unless you've experienced it first hand, some things in life are just far too painful and difficult to even put into words.. I wish it hadn't of taken that wake up call for me to realise I need to get up and help as much as I can, please don't make the same mistake as I did. 

 This year will be my 2nd year doing the Pretty Muddy race for life event, last year I raised £1,400 for cancer research and this year I am aiming even higher. I might not be able to cure people with cancer or cure those around them that have suffered also, but if the sponsors I get together is even enough to ease the journey for one family then it's worth every single step. Please join the fight by sponsoring me. Anything helps and goes towards preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. As I said I won't be able to do it alone but together if everyone pays a small part, we will beat it sooner. Cancer may have started the fight, but we will finish it.
