Help more people beat cancer.
Hi All
Yes your eyes are in focus and you are correct I am going to dress in bright pink and run 5k on the 5 June all in the name of Cancer Research UK.
Like most people Cancer turned my world upside down when I lost my grandpa (David Brown) in 1986 then in my late 20's I had treatment for cancer cells (if it was for the research then mines wouldn't have been found in time) then I lost a very special uncle (Charlie Darroch) in June 2001 and on the 21 May 2004 I was told my mum (Kitty Brown/Gemmell) had terminal cancer with only weeks to live, she died on 21 July 2004, since then I have lost a number of close friends and neighbours (Jim Maguire, Matt McAdam, Alex Keith, Duncan Queen) to cancer.
I'd really appreciate your support because everyone knows someone that has been affected by cancer only by research can ways be found to beat it.
Please support me if I reach my target then I will even wear a Bright Pink TuTu now that would be a sight. Its bad enough that I have the rabbit ears, socks, t-shirt and the feather boa all in bright pink.
Thanks guys I have reached my target. So thanks I am wearing the Tu Tu and the Rabbit Ears are now Devils Horns (well I think thats more me) I even had to wear the TuTu to work so I could get extra money but it was well worth it.
