This Race for Life in Solihull will be particularly meaningful as I will be walking/ running alongside my mum, aunts and cousins in memory of my beautiful Nana.

I would not wish anyone to go through what Nana went through and hope that we can help in any little way possible by raising money for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. Nana suffered with stomach cancer which sadly in 80% of cases is only diagnosed in its final stage. I hope that further research into cancer helps to reduce this exceptionally high percentage so that patients have a much better chance of surviving this terrible disease.
