Story

Too many people in my life have been effected by cancer. Some have beaten it and some, sadly, have not.

Doing Race for Life 2011 is a double motivator for me.

I'm trying to lose weight and get fit. So far I have lost 3 st and have started running, so this will be my first fitness challenge. At the moment I can comfortably run 1K, and have mangaged to run 2K only once, so I'm slowly getting better and I hope to be able to run the full 5K in June.

The second motivator is obviously to raise as much money as I can for this very well deserving charity and hopefully help more people beat cancer.
