Many thanks for taking the time to visit this page.
Please read the following statement from a very dear, life-long friend of mine. This amazingly kind-natured individual is one of my main inspirations in my life...
"Many of you will know I was last year diagnosed with a heart condition called Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome and ended up having lots of heart surgery, then early this year I was also diagnosed with cancer.
I've been battling along doing my best but doctors have had to stop my chemotherapy due to my heart becoming weaker. They are unable to treat the Cancer and have given me up to 10 months to live.
I've got some seriously amazing people around me right now, especially my family!! Literally the best family a person could wish for!
There's also another special person in our life that's been given not too long to live and that's my Grandad Longden, who also has a heart issue and cancer. Love him to bits ❤
Please keep an eye out for the "Longden Challenge" to help raise money for Defibrillators in schools to help save young kids with SADS. This condition can have no side effects and cause a perfectly healthy heart to stop. A defibrillator can save a life and allow a person to be fitted with an ICD to ensure a safe future! ☺☺ Thankyou X"
- Jason Longden, 26
Myself and a team of volunteers will be travelling 40 miles on foot through Yorkshire in just one day, to raise money and kit our community with defibrillators, nobody would have to panic or worry about having a heart attack again because their life would be saved thanks to these fantastic machines.
Please donate as big or as little as you like. Generosity will save us all!
A huge thank you for your donations on behalf of myself, Jason Longden and the Longden Challenge Team - Nik Rhodes X
