Brighton Half Marathon 2012 · 19 February 2012 ·

Sightsavers' vision is of a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes and where visually impaired people participate equally in society.

Story

Reg/Richard/Eric says: Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. After completing a grown-up marathon last year, I've decided to cut back on the pain quotient with a baby one for 2012.

Please make a little donation now, because any amount can save sight, and save a livelihood or a life. Just 50p buys ointment to tackle the early stages of trachoma, a simple infection that may be slowly blinding more than 40 million people. Just £10 will protect more than 30 families from river blindness for a whole year. And as little as £17 will pay for an entire adult cataract operation!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure that Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
