Ok sooo here it goes!!! As many of you will know us crazy four Love a bit of fun but we also love a challenge. So we chose one that will hopefully go a small way of making a difference. With children growing up in this era of gun
and knife crime, we decided it was time for us as parents, and members of the community – to bring awareness.
That is why we have chosen to work with The Wickers Charity. The Wickers Charity are supporting children as young as 8 up to 18 years of age in London and help them diverse from a path of crime.
What we found that made The Wickers a unique Charity was not only their vast engagement of over 200 children PER WEEK, but the opportunities the were creating. Giving these children an alternative path away from crime.
Opportunities in tech firms, estate agents and roles within the music industry
- that otherwise would seem a far distant dream to such underprivileged youths.
We did not pick an easy task! So, on Sunday 4th August all four of us will be taking part in the epic Prudential Ride 100, Bike Ride around London. The iconic route is extremely difficult, challenging and over 100 miles!!! It won’t be easy but we know with each other’s support and with the goal to raise £4,000 to allow The Wickers to continue their great work – we will get through this!
So, I ask you to work alongside us, and help The Wickers Charity save our youth!
Whether you can donate a £1 or £100 lets do this together and make our streets safe again.
