Story

As my 3rd challenge after completing a 3,500km cycle from London to Jerusalem in September 2016 and a self sufficient marathon in June 2017, I will be cycling 600 miles of the Appalachian Mountains from Front royal, Virginia to Cherokee, North Carolina in September 2017. This will be the hardest challenge by far with an average of 2,500m of elevation gain each day for 9 days back to back. Flat sections don't exist on this route!

I am dedicated to my continued support of the physiotherapy training project in Gaza and so any donations made will continue to go towards this. The £53,000 target has not yet been reached, so I am committed to challenging my body to its limits with varying adventures until the project in Gaza is in full swing!

On September 2016 at approximately 5pm I arrived in Jerusalem after my first epic ride for MAP. This ride was a huge success and would not have happened let alone achieved its aims without all of your support. Once again a huge thank you to those who donated!!

Physiotherapy and rehab after serious injury and surgery is often taken for granted in the UK. In Gaza it is rare to have specialised rehab in hospital let alone be followed up on discharge. Without rehab there is a very high risk of serious complication post surgery, there is risk of on going and permanent disability, and ultimately there is risk of death. As a specialist physiotherapist I am only too aware of this.

The belief in equal healthcare provision and access for ALL drives me, the further respect for human life and my neighbours has pushed me through mountain range beyond mountain range. All I can do is ask for your support and thank you.
