On Sunday 17th April 2011, I will be running the Virgin London Marathon for Get Kids Going. This wonderful charity help children and young people by providing them with wheelchairs and sports wheelchairs so they are able to participate in all kinds of different activities and play out with their friends.

 

I know running 26.2 miles is not going to be easy. It will be tough, painful and tiring. In fact when I finish I will be exhausted! But that's nothing compared to what disabled children have to put up with everyday of their lives.

 

Please help me to help a child by sponsoring my efforts for Get Kids Going! by giving a kind donation. If everyone helped just a little bit it could make a big difference. If I raised £2,000 it will provide a child with a wheelchair so, one day maybe they will be able to join in the activities we take for granted. If I raise £500 it could help provide a disabled child with a sports grant so they could play their favourite sport for one year.
