Our RNLI lifeboats in East of England protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

We are so excited that building has started for our new boathouse which will house our new Shannon Class Lifeboat.

Normally we would be seeing you at our annual events and inviting you into our existing station to talk to you about the work of the RNLI and share safety messages whilst raising vital funds so that we can continue saving lives at sea.

Now more than ever we need your help, Covid has had a significant effect on donations. Our volunteer crews require additional training in preparation for the arrival of our new boat which will enable us to respond to shouts faster than ever and help us bring more people home to their loved ones.

In addition to this training our crews need to best equipment in order to keep them safe whilst they risk their lives to save others - something they do  24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Thank you so much for your donation - donations on this page will be restricted for use at RNLI Wells.
