Leeds Rhinos star Rob Burrow and Ronnie the Rhino are set to walk across fire next month and you can join them, all in the name of two local charities.

Burrow will be hoping his trademark speedy footwork will help him get across 1236 degree fahrenheit of burning coals as he and Ronnie the Rhino take part in a Firewalk. Burrow will be performing the firewalk as part of his testimonal year. Leeds Rugby Foundation will make a donation to Rob Burrow as part of his testimonial year from funds raised through this JustGiving page.

Fans are invited to join the stars to take part in the Firewalk and help raise money for Leeds Rugby Foundation and Leeds Mencap. To take part you need to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. All participants get a 2 hour training and motivational session before the big Firewalk and will then be presented with a certificate once you’ve completed it!

Ronnie’s Christmas Firewalk takes place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on a night of festive entertainment on Monday 19 December starting at 6.30pm with the fire lit at 7.50pm and the Firewalks taking place from 8pm. All fans are welcome to attend to help show support for the brave firewalkers. Entertainment will include carol singers, a bouncy castle and games for children. Christmas themed food will be on offer including mulled wine and roasted chestnuts and we'll be joined by members of the Rhinos first team squad as well as Ronnie and Rob Burrow who will be doing the firewalk!
