Story

UPDATE: JUNE 2012

I'm afraid my very good friend Chris 'MILTON' Ivin lost his fight last week and passed away. He was too young. I'm really going to miss him.

On the boxing side of things, which doesn't seem to matter too much right now, I lost on a contentious points decision in the final of the Gleason's National Masters' final last week.

I fought there in February and stopped my opponent in the 3rd, and beat a cruiserweight at Clapham Grand in March.

FEB 2012:

I'm back over fighting in New York City next week. Having dropped down to middleweight, I'm stepping into the ring at Gleason's, in Brooklyn, on Saturday 18th February.

The good fight never ends.

WITH GREAT SADNESS I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT MICK CARNEY MBE, PASSED AWAY ON SATURDAY 19 NOVEMBER.

TRIBUTE:   http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,13273_7331619,00.html

Three very good friends of mine have been struck with that horrible disease, Cancer.

Chris "MILTON' Ivin, my fellow cameraman, Film & TV electrician Dave Coleshill R.I.P., and Mick Carney MBE, big boss at Fitzroy Lodge ABC. As I am boxing at York Hall on 14th October, I thought I would tie it in with a bit of fundraising to make their, and many others, lives a bit easier. My fight is so much easier than theirs.

All profits from my ticket sales will go to Macmillan, the charity suggested by Milton. Anything else you can give will also be very much appreciated.

Contact me direct for tickets. York Hall, Bethnal Green. Friday 14 October. Three of us from Fitzroy Lodge will be on the bill, Kevin Freeman, Oli Edis and me.

Or alternatively, please dig deep and donate now.
