I've been running seriously now for five years and in that time I've raised money for various charities. I push myself each time making each one a new challenge. This one will be no different.
Lymphoma is the UK's fifth most common cancer yet it is not that well known. A lot of people you mention it to respond with "What's that?".
Lymphoma is, like Leukaemia, a type of blood cancer. My Mother In Law is currently undergoing a course of Chemotherapy for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma of which, by the time I do this run in September, we sincerely hope the treatment will be finished and she will be on her way to recovery. Treatment, that without previous research, she wouldn't have been able to have.
Therefore, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is a charity extremely close to our hearts. This is the reason I am running for them this year.
I know there are always people and charities asking for your help in the way of a donation and times are hard. But even just the smallest amount contributes towards the final figure. My target is £250 and I would love to smash that.
No matter what you can spare I would really appreciate your support. Thank you in advance.
