LIN is a non profit organisation. A dedicated team from different areas of the UK, working to find the right homes for Labradors & Lab Crossbreeds that find themselves looking for a new family. We are a foster based rescue & rely on the kindness of volunteers & donations to help with vet bills.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April 2020 I'll be competing in the 250km long Marathon des Sables in Morocco. It's always described as one of the toughest races in the world, I suppose I'll find out for myself this spring. Basically it's a marathon a day for a week, except for day four when you have to finish two. Also it's a self-sufficient race, so you have to carry all of your gear, clothing and food for the week. And it's in the Sahara Desert, so it'll be hot, dusty and full of camel spiders.

The total entry fee has already been paid for by myself alone, so all of the sponsorship will be going to this small charity, 'Labradors in Need'. They do great work helping to find new homes for labradors that don't get all the love, care and attention that they need. That's where we got Major from.

You can follow my progress during the race, between the 3rd and 13th of April, making sure that I keep one step in front of those spiders! I'll put the details on when I get my number issued.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
