Story

On 21st February, our lives were flipped upside down when our little Emmie, just 2 at the time, had a horrific accident and suffered catastrophic injuries. She spent two long days in intensive care, in a medical induced coma where she underwent two lengthy surgeries, had multiple broken bones, as well as other unthinkable injuries, but miraculously has made a full recovery.

Our little princess is now fighting fit, cheekier than ever and lives to tell the tale for which we are forever grateful.

I have decided to take part in Ironman Tenby 2022, in order to raise as much money as I can for the Major Trauma Network, based in The university hospital of Wales, within Cardiff and the Vale health board. They cared for not only Emmie, but us as a family and they saved our little girl.

Having barely being able to run a mile and being unable to swim, I have taken on the challenge, supported by friends and family, and the training programme has commenced.

Every single £1 will help this wonderful charity who we owe our all to.

Thank you
