Story

Hi, It's Rob Robson here. Back in October 2018, ironically on my birthday, I was diagnosed with a stage 4 terminal duodenal cancer. Since then I have had some palliative surgery and I am now coming up to my 8th round of Chemotherapy out of a probable 12. During this difficult period of time I have had fantastic support from everyone, especially the Macmillan team who have been just great.

I have entered the Coventry half marathon on the 24th of March, along with my wife, daughter, and a host of friends. My sweet and lovely oncologist has juggled my treatment timetable around to allow me a sporting chance of being well on the big day. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan, to give something back to these outstanding people.

Please support my fundraising. Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. So whatever cancer throws your way, they are right there with you.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
