Would you believe it? One Ultra was not enough for me so I go again at the end of May this time taking on the 100km from London to Brighton over two days. What better way is there to spend your bank holiday weekend that putting in the miles and raising money for an amazing charity.

The charity... what can I say about them? Children with Cancer are a cause who I believe in so much. I have supported them for over a decade, raising £175k for them so far, and have been thrilled to see the impact the money has, spending time in their offices, running multiple marathons and other events and trying to make a difference for families affected by cancer. 

As you might know, I only set up one fundraising page a year as I seek to raise money through other means, so any donations you can make for this event would be hugely appreciated.  Let's be honest, 100km is going to hurt. It hurt last time and it is going to hurt this time, but every step is worth it if it helps take steps towards eradicating the unacceptable impact of cancer on families and young people.

Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer. For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond. Our work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.
