As a Volunteer Dental nurse I will be going to Tanzania for several weeks in September 2019 working in a rural clinic alongside other volunteers offering emergency dental care and training health workers in sterilisation techniques, managing cross infection and delivering oral health education. 

Over 70% of the population currently do not have access to basic dental treatment. Bridge2aid train rural-based healthworkers in developing countries such as Africa, providing them with skills, equipment and resources that they will need to provide emergency dental care.

By eliminating pain, suffering and tackling oral disease we can improve both peoples quality of life and livelihoods so they are able to function free from pain, enabling to work, attend school and care for their families.
