Donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Research UK 

With great sadness we share the news of the passing of Roger Beer.

He was a wonderful man, much loved by family and friends. He passed away peacefully, knowing how much he was loved, surrounded by his much-loved wife, Ann, and three adored children: Simon, Nicola and Kate.

Ever ready to lift spirits with a quirky sense of humour and
a positive outlook, he brought a smile to many people’s faces.

‘Grandad’ meant the world to his two grandchildren, James
and Izzy, who enjoyed chasing him around the house, and he will also be missed by his children’s partners Maria, Dan and Ali, his Grand-hound Stella and newest
Grand-bird addition, Gizmo.

His loss will be felt by many, including manufacturers of Jelly
Babies and Ice Cream.

A service to celebrate Roger’s life will take place on Wednesday 8 February, 11am at Drakes of Torbay, Hele Road, Torquay, TQ2 7QG.
