Wirral Hospice St John's provides specialist palliative care for the Wirral. It costs up to £7m a year to run the Hospice, which is at no charge to our patients. This is all thanks to the loyal support and commitment of our supporters who do so much to help raise funds for our charity's work.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I've set it up as so many people have said they would like to make a donation to Wirral St John's Hospice in memory of my husband, Roger Bryson. It was also his wish that people donate to the hospice in place of sending flowers for the funeral.

Roger sadly passed away on 17 July after losing his battle with bowel cancer. He was a much loved husband and father, son and brother, and will be missed by so many of his friends and colleagues too.

I've been writing about our experiences as a family, as we have been trying to accept and deal with how cancer has affected us all. You can read more if you like here http://rainbeaubelle.com/sad-news/

Thank you so much for your donation and your support of the hospice, which was such a marvellous support to Roger and our family.

His funeral will take place on 10 August at St Luke's Methodist Church in Hoylake at 12.45pm.

Many thanks and with love,

Julia
