Message from the Quest4hope team

Rob has always felt a very real connection with animals, along with a deep sense of responsibility to protecting them. It's his purpose in life and his compassion for them that drives him on. Rob will take to the roads again after his epic coastline challenge last year cycling 2,500 miles in 27 days (Saving our oceans). This year starting on 2nd September Rob will Hand-cycle 1,000 miles in 14 days bringing awareness to Romanian stray dogs

After Rob’s trip to Romania in June this year left him more committed to work and campaign for a brighter future for stray dogs of Romania.

Despite a very tough year for Rob, His real work begins now. The cycling is only part of the challenge. We've also had to co-ordinate with sponsors; recruit the right people for the team, all the while juggling private lives with unexpected domestic crises.

The task is not small but if we all get on board every individual, every family, every school, every community - we can make a difference to the lives of 1,000 of stray dogs in Romania, it can happen.

Rob is supporting Paws2rescue during this two week challenge but has invited other small charities here in the UK to join him in bringing awareness to the plight of the strays in Romania; we will update you on Saturday with the charities who are taking part in this challenge

Overall, Rob hopes to inspire others who share his compassion to saving animals not only in Romania but across the globe

Thank you
