Dear friends,

Yes it is true!

I can hear your gasps of wonder, amazement and sheer disbelief. The godlike (and modest)  fitness guru that is Ronan Brennan is indeed donating his spare time and good will to a charitable cause. I know I know how can one person be such an inspiring figure to everyone he knows. Well believe me it is a curse as much as it is a blessing but I manage to struggle on.

However, in all seriousness I have been inspired by my friend Holly to take part in the British 10k  London Run on July 6th 2008. This is a major task for me since I am (as most of you aware) all to rather  fond of the finer things in life.

I have decided to raise as much as I can for a wonderful charity called YoungMinds. It is a cause close to my heart dealing with the massive task of helping children and teenagers deal with mental health issues. Unfortunately this is a cause which is relatively unfashionable compared to  helping little lost puppies and they need as much funding as possible.

So please help as much or as little as you can. Every penny helps and it is going to a really great cause.
