Hello everybody!

I've embarked on this adventure to raise money for this charity because I know it affects a lot of women. With my small contribution, I want to help achieve a better future. Some people may think that 10 miles isn't a great distance but after I was described as a "couch potato" by the Wii Fit  board, I am having to train 5 days a week to ensure that I can reach the finishing line on 30th May within hours rather than days! It's going to be a tremendous effort...

My ally on the day will be a good friend, Claire Harrison, and the two of us are getting acquainted with many of the cows and sheep that inhabit the local Cotswold countryside as we get some training miles under our belts! 

To raise money, we have several activities in mind. Amongst these are "flamenco lessons" so watch this space for future announcements especially if you live anywhere near Cheltenham.
