Muddy Dog Challenge 2015 · 10 May 2015 ·

We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.

Story

The work Battersea Dogs and Cats home do is invaluable - not only do they re-home thousands of animals each year, but they also follow a non-selective intake policy which means they accept any breed of animal, at any age, including those with medical and behavioural problems.

After recently making the decision to re-home a dog, I visited the home and was completely moved by the experience. Walking around the kennels and witnessing the sheer number of unwanted/abandoned/lost animals in their care was a complete shock to me. Battersea work tirelessly to find suitable new owners for all of their dogs and I feel really lucky to have recently re-homed Cooper - a one year old Saluki who was found as a stray and in poor health.

I decided to take part in the Muddy Dog Challenge to give something back to Battersea, because like them, I'm determined to create changes for animals in our society and know that whatever is raised, will have real impact upon the lives of vulnerable dogs and cats in London, and beyond.

All donations will help, so please support us if you can!

Thanks so much,
Rosh & Cooper
