Hi Guyssss!!! =)

Welcome to my page. I am currently raising as much money as I can, for an appeal called Slum Survivor, which is where I will be living in a slum, that I have built myself, for 3 days and eating just rice and dahl. How exciting! I am staying in the church grounds with nothing but only ONE complete set of clothes, a couple of hygiene bits (toothbrush, sponge, soap, towel) and a bible. I am not allowed anything like a pillow, teddy, my phone or ipod (sob), no deodrant or hairbrushes, no books, magazines or newspapers and worst of alll  - no Make Up!! =(.

The point of it is, is that we raise money for people living and working in poor communities around the world and it will also give us  the feeling of what its like to live like a billion poor people spend a lifetime - and I'm only doing it for 3 days! I will be taking part in activities throughout the weekend  and might be able to win a few little prizes, (fingers crossed I win some chocolate!) All the water I need for any cooking, cleaning etc. can only be collected from one tap.

I am allowed some visitors but would prefer it that if you are going to come and visit me, to come in a bunch rather than at all different times as I might have things to do and so on.  I can only offer you water to drink or rice to eat!

I think this is going to be a very good experience for me. I will learn about what its like not to have my lovely family around me but also the other things I love (eg: MY BED!) but I think I will learn a huge amount from the experience and how important it is to  be giving and raising money for different charities.

So, please have a heart and donate some money to those who probably need it much more than you or I ever will. It can be any donation, small or large.  Its all about whether YOU are willing to contribute to those less fortunate than yourself.
