Salsa Marathon for Cancer Research UK · 22 November 2014

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

A 10-hour salsa marathon, organised by Jilles Fermont, is taking place on 22nd November, from 2pm until midnight, at St Columba’s Church (Alfred St) in Oxford. A group of Salsa dancers from the University of Oxford aims to dance a marathon, non-stop for 10 hours, to raise money for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

In the UK, more than 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. If we can improve diagnosis and treatment for other types of cancers we are in a position to make a real difference and go a lot further in the fight against cancer.

Every donation is extremely appreciated, no matter how small. All the money raised will be spend on cancer research.

Thanks for your support!
