Hello all,

 

Basically I got sent a email out of the blue asking if I wanted to join a crew of 6 to row the Atlantic and try and help break the Atlantic rowing record for the quickest crossing. Anyone who knows me knows that I am no a fan of the 'high seas' or rowing so this is totally out of my comfort zone. 

 

I have only been allowed to go on this because my colonel very kindly agreed to let me do this so I have decided to raise money for the Household Cavalry Centralised Fund which helps men from the Regiment who have been injured or need help.

 

Its a charity which invariably is very close to my heart and one that I hope you will deem worthy of a few of your pounds.
