Georgia & Olivia have been friends since they were about 7 days old. Last December their friend Rose died of cancer. They have decided to participate in a Cancer Research 5k event in her memory and to help others. The run is on Sunday July 3rd in Blackheath. Read on for their words...

Olivia says:

I'm doing the Cancer Research 5k run for my friend Rose. She died from bone cancer. She was a loving, caring girl. We always had fun playing Sylvanians. She was very brave. I want to raise money for cancer research so that other people don't suffer like Rose did. I miss her very much.

Georgia says:

I am running the 5k in Blackheath to raise money for my friend Rose who died of bone cancer. I would like to help others that have got bone cancer and I would like to find a cure for bone cancer. Rose was a really good friend & she made me laugh. Rose was in hospital since she was in Year One but she was always smiling. I always saw her playing with her friends and sometimes with me too. I will never forget her.
