Story

Hi all

Thanks for running on our group page.

As you may or may not know but we are running the London Marathon this year for the Bobby Moore Fund but more specifically for Bowel Cancer. We set this page up so that if you know more than one of us you don't need to donate more than once.

The reason we are running is a very good friend of ours Jon Ratcliffe died of Bowel Cancer last summer aged just 28. Bowel Cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the behind lung cancer and yet it is one of the most curable if caught early. The main problem is educating people to get over their embarrassment and go and get checked out as it really could save your life.

The squad of runners is:

Adam Raincock

Ben Gibbs

Leo Thompson

Russell Clarke

Mark Ross

Andrew Patrick

Danny Hibberd

Thanks in advance,

The Boys
