Geneva Half Marathon · 6 May 2018

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

As most of you reading this will know, I was diagnosed with advanced kidney cancer last year. I went through three operations and lost two organs, but in January this year was told things appear stable for now.

May marks one year since I first went into hospital, so while I still can, I’m running the Geneva Half Marathon to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

At 30 years old, I felt far too young to have cancer. But just imagine for a second what it must be like for a teenager dealing with something as severe as cancer.

So any help we can give to young people going through treatment, is surely worth it.

Thank you in advance for any donation you can make.
