Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A year ago our then 6 year old boy had an accident where he sustained a fractured skull and brain injury. When he woke up he was paralysed on his left side. He spent three months in hospital receiving intense rehabilitation plus an operation to reconstruct part of his skull. Whilst in hospital we were introduced to the Child Brain Injury Trust. Over the year they have supported us with valuable information and even attended school to provide support for the teachers in understanding the effects of brain injuries. We would now like to give back to them so that they can continue to support other families shaken by this horrible misfortune.

We are incredibly grateful to the support of family and friends who we most definitely couldn't have coped without and to have them running this half marathon by our side is really special. Thank you in advance for your support each little amount makes a difference.
