I would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone for your support, encouragement and generosity for ‘Our Mad Challenge – running for Claire’ in the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 29^th March.

We have attached a photo of us at the finish (not very flattering but full of smiles).

We were really proud of out times, as it was our first running event and we both acheived our goals of under 2hrs:30.  The quickest runner was fromand he achieved it in 62 minutes, makes you wonder what he eats for breakfast!

Donations to date have reached £1,301.00 plusHenderson’s matching we will have raised twice as much as we hoped – so thank you very much!

All donations will be sent directly to Leukaemia Research by Just Giving.

As you all know we may be mad, but we are inspired and determined ladies!  

Unfortunately, we have a very good reason for being so determined, and have choosen this charity for the simple reason that we will be helping others suffering from the same disease as Claire did.
