Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) is the only hospice in Staffordshire supporting Children, Young Adults & Adults. Care is given to patients who are living with a life-limiting illness at our two sites and in the community. We also provide support for patients families and their carers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 13th April this year I will be running the London Marathon which is 26.2 miles!

My best friend Rachel had a beautiful sister called Jane Warrilow.  Jane was taken away from her lovely family nearly 4 years ago after a long and very courageous battle with cancer.

Her last days with her family were spent at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in Stafford and in memory of Jane, I am running 26.2 miles to raise money for the hospice.

The hospice relies totally on donations in order to carry on its great work so please for this reason and for Jane and her family realise that if you donate you are donating for a fantastic cause.

Jane fought every step of the way, right until she was taken away from her family.  I will run every step of the 26.2 miles for Jane - Rachels beautiful sister.
