As some of you may be aware i am retireing from derbyshire police after 30yrs operational service on 13th april 2010.  I am now the tender age of 52 and apart from doing the derby 10k last year in 74 mins this is the only serious running i have done since leaving school. Paula and I are hoping to beat last years time and at least get into the 60 mins +. please view the born free website and you will see the valuable work they do, and please consider sponsering some animals. As with last year i will also be dividing any sponsor money between born free and cancer research.
