Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be taking part in the Brecon beacons challenge on the 3rd september and on the 11th of september ill be taking part in a tandem skydive all in aid of raising money for my son Ollie.
Ollie was born 5 weeks premature and as a result of this he suffered PVL of the brain. This causes grey matter in the brain to die,due to a lack of oxygen.
As a result Ollie has developed Cerebral palsy spastic diplegia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spastic_diplegia which makes daily tasks very hard.
Ollie is unable to sit properly without support and unable to walk at the moment and it's unlikely he will ever walk unaided.
Our Mission
Our mission is to raise £50,000 to pay for an operation in the States called SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) and for specialist physiotherapy.
http://www.stlouischildrens.org/content/medservices/AboutSelectiveDorsalRhizotomy.htm
The procedure involves going into the spine and cutting rootlets firing spasticity to the legs, leaving the good ones intact. Dr Parks has had a 100% success rate with these operations.

Anyone interested in helping the Send Ollie To St Louis Appeal is asked to contact Caudwell Children on 01782 600114 or to donate online visit www.justgiving.com/sendollietostlouis
Or you can contact Rachel or myself at 07598 435452
So please dig deep and donate now.
Important note to donors: As long as Ollie requires the funds raised to pay for treatment in the United States and post-operative physiotherapy, Caudwell Children will manage all payments of funds for the family. Should there come a time, for whatever reason, that Ollie no longer requires the funds raised for medical treatment and living expenses while in America then the monies raised will be used to provide similar donations to sick and disabled children living within the UK through the charity, Caudwell Children.
