Story
It’s two years to the day since I first posted about our daughter, Sophie. She’s doing great and is the boss of our house - as well as her baby brother!
Soph has CMN which means around 70% of her body is covered in birthmarks. We’re grateful to Caring Matters Now, the charity supporting families affected by CMN, for all their support and work towards a cure. And as ever, our wonderful family and friends are helping us say thank you.
Caring Matters Now is just one of the charities hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled - including the 26 mile London Marathon on 26 April - and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.
So at this weird old time I thought it would be fun to get together and do the 2.6 challenge, raising what we can, but mostly doing lots of different, sometimes silly, things together. All for a cause that means a lot to us.
Soph and I will be baking 26 biscuits on Sunday. And these lovely 27 people (who’s counting?) will be doing something around the numbers 2.6 too. I’m grateful to each and every one of you and looking forward to the photos! Thank you all Xxx
