Story
No, its not a joke. Ruth and Jaynie really are going to run the Great Baddow 10 mile road race.
We started running last September and although Ruth had done a bit of running before we literally started with running for 60 seconds, walking for 60 seconds - and feeling like we might drop dead.
But we persevered and got our running up to 3 minute bursts! Then by Christmas we were doing a couple of miles and in between Jaynie having various bits of her legs osteopathed to keep them in top form, we decided to focus our efforts towards a specific goal.
Anyone that knows us will know that this has to be worth sponsoring, if for no other reason than it is likely to be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We're raising money for Galleywood Infant School, where Pip and Kari attend, to help towards their annual fund raising which contributes to extra resources for the benefit of the children.
We'd be really grateful for any sponsorship at all, as will Pip, Kari and all of their friends.
