TCT Skydive for Stephen

Skydive for Stephen 2015 · 10 July 2015 ·
Hi, I was diagnosed with cancer in May 2012 when I was 15 years old. It seemed like my world closed down when the doctors told me. I've been poked with needles almost everywhere including my feet, it hasn't been a smooth road at all. I've caught quite a few infections along the way which meant long stays in hospital away from my family & friends. Also losing my hair twice for a teenage girl isn't nice either, but when you hear people talking about you in the street & pointing at you it makes a bad day worse.
But now I'm 18 years old & was given the all clear in September 2014 which was AMAZING. But sadly there are still obstacles I'm trying to over come & get over it.
Teenage Cancer Trust & TYA have been amazing, the staff are so kind & amazing & knows just how we're feeling. The wards are designed for teenagers & young adults with relaxing rooms, quite rooms, pool tables etc so it's like home from home when you're there for weeks/months on end with no friends that are allowed to visit due to infections etc.
Please give what you can for this FANTASTIC & worthy charity which saved my life. THANK-YOU for taking time out to read some of my story xxx
